Brewery X, an independent craft brewery on Anaheim’s La Palma Beer Trail, is committed to making a meaningful impact through community outreach. In partnership with local organizations, we support underserved communities in South Central and Watts (Los Angeles), as well as Orange County.

While the connection between a craft brewery and these communities may not be obvious, Brewery X has always been rooted in the principle of connection.

The Painted Turtle is a free camp for children with serious medical conditions, dedicated to giving every child the opportunity to experience the joy and lasting impact of camp.
Strive is a safe haven providing academic support and guidance to children, youth, and families in the Watts community of Los Angeles—an underserved area with many of California’s lowest-performing schools.
iPlay, iLead Basketball Academy is a year-round youth program in South Central Los Angeles that uses basketball as a foundation for positive youth development. While rooted in sport, the program’s focus is character—building resilience, teamwork, leadership, respect, responsibility, attitude, and confidence. Led by dedicated volunteer coaches and supported by LA Lakers great Kurt Rambis, it serves youth ages 4–17.
Operation Progress provides mentorship, scholarships, case management, and academic enrichment for students from third grade through college or vocational school.
Run2Remember is a 10K and half marathon that honors first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice. The event raises funds to support the families of the fallen.
Soap Box Derby brings STEM education, problem-solving, and leadership development to youth ages 8–18 in Watts. Participants design and build their own gravity-powered cars, gaining hands-on experience as engineers and creators.
CHOC – Children’s for Diabetes Research supports life-changing research that helps ease the challenges and emotional impact of a child’s diabetes diagnosis.
A Place Called Home provides a safe, nurturing environment for more than 1,000 young people (ages 8 to mid-20s) and their families in South Central Los Angeles. Through programs in arts, education, and wellness, it supports personal growth and economic mobility. The organization also provides financial support and counseling to more than 100 college students.
North East Lincoln Tigers Youth Football is an after-school program for boys and girls ages 13–14, serving Boyle Heights, Lincoln Heights, and El Sereno. Through football, it builds discipline, teamwork, confidence, and leadership—providing youth with positive alternatives and the tools to overcome challenges.
American Red Cross — Brewery X proudly serves as a leading Orange County location for blood and plasma donation drives.
Project Blue is a collaboration with the LAPD’s Community Safety Partnership (CSP) that supports officers in delivering sustainable youth outreach. Through community-driven programming, it promotes academic, physical, and emotional well-being while connecting youth, families, and mentors.
Team Garcia Youth Boxing provides inner-city youth in South Los Angeles (ages 6–18) with a structured, after-school training program that promotes discipline, self-control, and teamwork. Through consistent participation and strong family support, the program offers a positive alternative, helping youth build confidence, leadership, and character while supporting their physical and mental well-being.
Coaching Corps recruits and trains volunteers to coach youth in low-income communities, expanding access to the benefits of sports. The program focuses on building confidence, self-reliance, and teamwork.
10K With a Cop is a youth running and mentorship program where participants train four days a week toward completing a 10K. Beyond running, the program emphasizes resilience through guided discussions, academic support, and mentorship—covering topics like nutrition, goal-setting, and overcoming challenges while building endurance and confidence.
Children’s Hospital Los Angeles is an acute care children’s hospital located in East Hollywood, serving families across the Los Angeles region.
